Should I brush my teeth before or after breakfast?

To protect your tooth enamel, brushing first thing in the morning is better than brushing your teeth after breakfast.

If you have to brush your teeth after breakfast, we recommend waiting at least 30-60 minutes before brushing, this allows the acid in your mouth, from eating, to neutralise, ensuring there is no unnecessary damage to your teeth.

However, brushing in the morning, whenever you’re able to do so, is still better than skipping brushing your teeth at all.
