We look forward to welcoming you

“Care” is part of our name and is embedded in our culture. Our care for our patients is at the centre of our practice, embraces our team and also extends to the wider world.

Our practice is dedicated to creating and protecting beautiful smiles; we know how to improve your quality of life through an increased confidence in your smile or your ability to chew comfortably.

What to expect during your first visit

Undoubtedly, a visit to the dentist makes us nervous. It's always nice to know what to expect during your first visit.

Your first visit to Crossbank Dental Care will most likely be for a consultation and assessment appointment with our Treatment Co-Ordinator who will take a 3D scan of your teeth and discuss your options with you.

Our Front of House team will greet you as you arrive and make you comfortable with refreshments. We have a spacious patient lounge with complimentary wifi, freshly ground coffee & a choice of teas. As you enter our lounge you will notice our signature Crossbank dental scent which will make you feel right at home.

“Ben seemed to enjoy his experience to the extent that he talked about it for some while afterwards, and both he and I were fascinated with the technology, and the way it was expertly wielded by our friendly dentist and his assistant.

Thoroughly professional, expert and courteous, and we all feel very safe in the hands of the practice.”

Meet your Treatment Coordinator

After your arrival, you will meet your Treatment Coordinator (TCO) who will enquire about your dental concerns, offer an initial assessment and then discuss the possible dental treatment solutions for you.

The steps involved will be explained and you will have opportunity to ask questions and discuss finance options.

Hear from Treatment Coordinator, Sara

“Before visiting Crossbank Dental Care, I believed that in order to improve my dental appearance I would need my remaining teeth removed and a complete false set in their place. I was so pleased and relieved to hear you say that this was quite unnecessary.

The treatments or ‘Smile Enhancements’ as you called them have exceeded all my expectations. I have kept my own teeth and they now look extremely attractive. I am now able to laugh and smile confidently again.

I would wholeheartedly recommend your dental care to anyone.”

How long does a new patient consultation last?

Allow up to 90 minutes for new patient consultations.

This allows time to understand the reason(s) for your visit, thoroughly assess your situation and offer solutions to your dental concerns.

“After years of visiting other dentists I decided to register with Crossbank, and after the first visit I felt more than comfortable enough to go ahead with the work I needed to repair my damaged teeth. Having finished the treatment some time ago now I can honestly say that I am amazed with the results. My teeth feel the best that they could ever feel.”

What Will My Dentists Do On My First Visit?

Your Treatment Coordinator will introduce you to your Dental Nurse and your Dentist or Dental Therapist before your Dentist or Dental Therapist asks to carry out your Dental Health Review.

Your Dental Appointment Will Include:

  1. A complete review of the condition of your teeth: strength, appearance and function.

  2. An oral cancer check, a gum health check and perhaps X-rays if your Dentist or Dental Therapist feels they are necessary.

  3. Often, we take some photographs of your teeth. This allows us describe how we can help, remember your current situation and plan the most appropriate treatment for you.

  4. Your Dental Nurse will be there to assist your Dentist or Dental Therapist during this examination.

Your Dental Health & Treatment Options

Time is set aside by our Team to discuss your dental health and to explain the treatment options available to you as our patient. Your Dentist, Dental Therapist and Dental Nurse will be pleased to answer any questions that you might have before finally drawing up a written treatment plan and quotation to suit your specific needs and wishes.

We look forward to welcoming you to Crossbank Dental Care
