We are pleased to announce that we are open and providing a full range of dentistry. The practice has undergone some changes with enhanced safety measures in place - but it's still the same team behind the masks and visors!
The health and safety of our patients and staff remains paramount. Following guidelines from: the FGDP; the Government; the HSE; and the BDA, we have implemented the necessary measures to ensure the safety of all who visit and our staff. As guidelines change, we will update our procedures based on the most up-to-date scientific evidence. Please be assured that in spite of how we may appear, what hasn’t changed is the friendly care that you are familiar with receiving at Crossbank Dental Care.

I had an appointment booked during shutdown, do I need to re-book?
If you previously had an appointment booked during lockdown and have not heard from us yet please let us know so we can arrange a new appointment.
When will I get an appointment?
Our dentists are fully aware of the patients who need to catch up with their dental plan appointments and want treatments to commence or be completed. Currently, there are limitations on how many patients we can see per day. However, every effort is being taken to see patients at the earliest opportunity. Our Reception team will be in touch with you to arrange a convenient appointment time.
For the time being, in order to comply with social distancing, we are not be able to offer walk in appointments. However, due to the size of our waiting room you will not be expected to wait outside!
Is there anything I need to do prior to my appointment?
Yes. You will need to complete the necessary Pre-Appointment Covid-19 questionnaires, and other treatment related documents. To help reduce the transmission of the Covid-19 virus, there is a big push towards digital communication before, during and after your visit, so these will be e-mailed to you, as will the self check-in facility. Please let us know your current e-mail address via our contact page (contact us).

What happens when I attend my appointment?
You will be welcomed by our Reception team into the Practice and invited to use the hand cleansing facilities. In line with current Government guidance, please wear a face covering when entering the Practice. We hope that this will be changed soon.
Guidelines require that we ask you bring only essential personal items with you and where possible to come alone.
To help you round the Practice and ensure social distancing measures, there will be a one-way system with directional signs.
Please be aware your appointment may take slightly longer than usual due to the additional measures in place.
Can I get a virtual consultation?
Yes. If you are concerned about a visit we offer online video consultations through the ‘Zoom’ platform. You can request a video consultation by contacting us here. We will let you know available appointment times.
Once we are back to full work force we will include the option to book a video consultation or Treatment Coordinator discussion online.
