At Crossbank Dental Care, we offer comprehensive periodontal treatment to manage and prevent gum disease—helping patients protect their teeth, avoid tooth loss, and enjoy long-term oral health. Whether you're showing early signs of gum disease or dealing with more advanced issues, our specialist-led team is here to help.

What is periodontal disease?

Periodontal (gum) disease is an inflammatory condition affecting the tissues that support your teeth. It often begins as gingivitis, where gums become red or bleed when brushing. Without treatment, it can progress to periodontitis, leading to gum recession, bone loss, and even tooth mobility or loss.

Common symptoms include:

  • Bleeding when brushing or flossing

  • Swollen, red, or tender gums

  • Persistent bad breath

  • Gum recession or teeth appearing longer

  • Loose or shifting teeth
