When did you join the Crossbank Dental Care team and how did you find the practice?

I have worked at Crossbank Dental Care since July 2016, my previous practice referred to Crossbank Dental Care for implants so when I relocated to Cumbria I knew Crossbank Dental Care was the practice I wanted to work at.

How long have you been a dental nurse?

15 Years.

How has your career developed during your time at Crossbank Dental Care?

From strength to strength. When I joined Crossbank Dental Care in 2016, I already had my radiography qualification. Crossbank has funded and supported me through my sedation qualification, phlebotomy course, suture removal training and my treatment coordination training.

What do enjoy most about your job?

Creating smiles, giving our patients the confidence to smile again.

Can you tell me about a particularly challenging or rewarding experience you’ve had in your role?

My first teeth in a day journey, from start to finish I was with the patient emotionally and physically. This case has always stuck with me as it made me think, this is the job for me. 

If you had to swap jobs for one day in the practice, which job would you swap and why?

I wouldn’t, I enjoy both my roles, one day Implant Nurse and the next day Treatment Coordinator.
