Plenty to Smile About in September

School’s back – is it time to straighten your smile?

Now, I’m not saying we haven’t loved the school holidays – but if you’ve been juggling childcare, fun days out, holidays and, of course, the joy of back-to-school preparations, it does feel like: “…and breathe!”

Time to smile

From exercise to aesthetics, how often do we leave it too late? (Christmas Eve!), or when we’re snowed under with to-dos and pressures? (New Year’s Resolutions!) With children back to school, and plenty of time until winter closes in and Christmas looms, September is the perfect time to treat yourself to some well-deserved self-care.

As well as appearance and self-confidence, teeth straightening can also contri

bute to long-term oral health and wellbeing. Aligned teeth can be easier to clean, helping you maintain good oral hygiene and reducing the risk of problems such as plaque build-up and gum disease. A well-aligned bite can also help with comfortable function and reduce unnecessary strain on the jaw.

So, whether tooth straightening has long been on your to-do list, or you’d simply love to feel more confident about your smile for upcoming professional and social events (and photos!), why not make September the time to do something for yourself?

Modern tooth straightening, tailored to you

At Crossbank Dental Care, your comfort and confidence are our top priorities. We offer a range of safe, effective tooth-straightening options for adults, teenagers and children, tailored to your individual needs, smile and goals.

There isn’t one treatment that’s right for everyone. Depending on your teeth and what you’d like to achieve, options may include:

  • Clear aligners, including Invisalign and Angel Clear, which are removable and discreet or

  • Short-term orthodontic treatments, where appropriate, for smaller cosmetic changes such as mild crowding or spacing.

Using digital scans and 3D technology, our team can assess your teeth and help you understand your options, so you can make an informed decision about what’s right for you.

September Offer: 50% Off your New Patient Assessment

If you’ve been thinking about straightening your teeth, we’re making it a little easier to take that first step this September.

Book and pay for your New Patient Assessment during September and receive 50% off.

To qualify, your pre-clinical consultation must take place during September, and your New Patient Assessment must be booked and paid for during September, with the assessment appointment taking place in either September or October, subject to availability.

So, even if your assessment appointment isn’t available until October, you can still take advantage of our September offer – provided your NPA is booked and paid for during September and takes place by the end of October.

There’s no need to decide on treatment straight away. The first step is simply to talk to us, explore your options and understand what might be suitable for you.

To find out more or book your pre-clinical consultation, just get in touch with the Crossbank Dental Care team.

Making a Difference with Bridge2Aid

Our relationship with Bridge2Aid goes back many years, and we’re proud that our support has continued to grow. We’re now Gold Unity Partners, helping to sponsor the training of Dental Health Workers who can provide much-needed emergency dental care in their local communities.

In 2025, we sponsored our first Dental Health Worker, Goodluck Thadeo, in the Mwanza Region of Tanzania. We’re delighted that Goodluck and his fellow trainees have now successfully completed their Dental Therapy training with distinction. Even more encouragingly, some are now helping to train the next group of Dental Health Workers – a wonderful example of the programme becoming locally led and sustainable.

And our support doesn’t stop there. We’ve recently signed up to support Bridge2Aid’s expanded programme in the neighbouring Geita Region, where around three million people are currently served by just three dentists. We’ll be sponsoring one of eight new trainees through their Dental Therapy training, practical experience and mentoring, and we’re looking forward to sharing their progress with you.

It’s a small part of what we can do as a practice, but we’re very proud to support work that helps communities build their own long-term access to dental care.

Until next time,

Bex x
