𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝘀𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿?

I have been qualified for 36 years and I love it. I wanted to do something with people, I wanted to go to uni so that I could climb mountains, and I reckoned that dentistry would suit me more than medicine. We also had a family friend called Robin who was a close friend of my parents as well as a partner in the dental practice that we all went to. He was a larger-than-life character as well as an excellent Clinician and I'd say it is his fault that I am here now...

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲?

Since 2022.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻?

In this order:

∙ Meeting and working with people who are looking for help

∙ More specifically, fixed and removable (aligner) orthodontic treatment, and cosmetic rehabilitation of broken down mouths.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗷𝗼𝗯?

The patients that I meet and the technical challenges involved.

My school careers people once told me that I would make a good beauty therapist…..

𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘄𝗮𝗽 𝗷𝗼𝗯𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗷𝗼𝗯 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝘄𝗮𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝘆?

The one thing that I never got round to doing was training to place implants. I don't regret it, but a day with Neil's drill would be ace….
