Green Small Business Certified

We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded Green Small Business certification in recognition of our steadfast commitment to environmental sustainability.

Some key highlights of the environmental initiatives underway at Crossbank Dental Care include:

𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: We are measuring our carbon emissions and using findings to target reductions in key areas under our control.

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀: We emphasise preventative care and education for our patients to limit the need for more intensive, high-carbon dental treatments.

𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴: Our purchasing is guided by an environmental purchasing policy that factors in supplier sustainability. We avoid environmentally-damaging materials and favour reusable equipment wherever possible.

𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆: We are continually upgrading our premises for energy efficiency and transitioning to low-carbon heating solutions.

𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: We promote public transit, walking, cycling, and green vehicle usage among staff and will be raising awareness of this with patients.

As we celebrate this achievement, we also recommit ourselves to our mission of providing outstanding dental care while being exemplary caretakers of the environment around us.
